Dr. Isaiah Kiprono Byegon Biography

Dr. Isaiah Kiprono Byegon is holder of PhD in economics from the University of Nairobi. He is currently the Director of Economic Planning at the State Department for Gender and Affirmative Action.

He is passionate about sustainable development, and plays a key role in a national presidential initiative to plant 15 billion trees over the next 10 years up to 2032, promoting environmental conservation. Dr. Byegon also has a keen interest in Gender and climate change, advancing tools for equitable policy development.
